Drug Poisoning Death Rate in the U.S.

The worst domestic challenge we saw in the United States, taking an enormous human, public health, and economic toll, is the opioid crises. This map displays the drug-poisoning death rate in the United States by county. Areas of greater economic dislocation of the white working class also show a high concentration of deaths.
